Jack is an award-winning experienced Project Manager with over 30 years’ experience within the construction industry, who has worked in Project Management for the past 15 years.

Jack has experience in the Civil and Structural design field, and so has significant understanding of the relationships between design development and construction process from his 13 years in design consultancy.

Jack has significant knowledge of processes and stakeholder management from his experience in working with clients such as Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust, Rossendale Borough Council, Trafford Borough Council, Spire Healthcare, Nuffield Healthcare, British Rail Board (Residuary), Pennine Care NHS Trust, Orange Communications, Equality and Human Rights Commission and Her Majesty’s Court Service.

Jack was Project Director for the Altrincham Health and Wellbeing Centre which completed in 2018. This delivered the redevelopment of a town centre site including retention of a historic Victorian Façade, and included for a new council library and retail offering within the 10,000m2 facility. The project was delivered ahead of programme and £3m under budget.

The Spire Manchester Hospital was a significant achievement for Jack and won Project of the Year (Construction) at the Association for Project Management Awards in 2017. It was also shortlisted for Project of the Year awards at awards ceremonies hosted by IHEEM, Building Better Healthcare and Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce. The project involved construction of a new 12,000m2 hospital facility with operating theatres, diagnostics, wards and a Pathology Lab.

Jack has delivered numerous P21 and P21+ projects, and has recently achieved handover of 4 phases of work on a new P22 project to redevelop the Critical Care Unit at Royal Preston Hospital; he is also involved in P22 projects at Salford Royal Hospital and Royal Oldham Hospital.

Jack has also spent significant time on secondment with major organisations such as:

  • Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust – working with the Capital Team to transform the Critical Care Unit and Ophthalmology offerings across two busy hospital sites
  • Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust – working with the Capital Team to deliver multi-million pound projects to provide secure mental health care facilities

By working closely with client organisations, Jack has helped develop excellent working relationships with key members of these organisations to demonstrate how he can add value to all aspects of projects.
